Nita Lawrence has always LOVED clothes. Her retail career since college has included everything from buying to apparel design in cities like Washington DC and Boston. She moved to Spartanburg in 2006 and immediately fell in love with the downtown. Three years after moving to Spartanburg, she began to get the itch to get back into the retail world.

Having her own clothing boutique had always been a dream of hers so in August of 2009, she opened Armoire, which offers a thoughtfully curated collection of women's contemporary clothing and accessories in the heart of downtown Spartanburg.
